Scholarship Information

ATG Freshman Scholarship
Alpha Tau Gamma will present $2,500 in scholarships to the Stockbridge School Class of 2013. We will award one freshmen student a $1,000 scholarship, two $500 scholarships and five $100 scholarships to those students who meet the application qualifications and will be selected randomly. The scholarship awards will be granted following Dean William L. Mitchell's "First Year Seminar" class. The Massachusetts Commissioner of Agriculture, Scott J. Soares, will be in attendance to assist in the award ceremony. A post-ceremony dinner will be hosted at the Active Chapter residence for all award winners and current Stockbridge students.

Requirements: 
Scholarship is open to all male and female freshman students.
Applicant must be enrolled as a full time student as defined by the Stockbridge School of Agriculture.
Applicant must complete all required information.
Applicant must be present at award ceremony at the Chapter House of Alpha Tau Gamma located at 118 Sunset Avenue, Amherst, Massachusetts on the date and time announced by Dean William L. Mitchell during the “First Year Seminar” class.
Applicant must successfully complete first semester and meet all university requirements for continued enrollment for the second semester.  Awards will be mailed to the address given after we get confirmation from the Stockbridge School office.

The fraternal brotherhood of Alpha Tau Gamma is the academic, service, and social fraternity of the Stockbridge School of Agriculture at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Founded in 1919, ATG has provided Stockbridge men with an avenue for professional growth and development through a long-standing tradition of service to the University and local communities as well as providing an environment for students to excel in their respective studies. ATG has developed into a strong band of brothers through the hard work and determination of the alumni and active chapter. 

Alpha Tau Gamma is located at 118 Sunset Ave, just steps from the UMass Southwest Residential Housing Area. Currently, eighteen members reside in the Active Chapter House of the more than thirty active chapter brothers on campus.
